Resource Center
The SEPAL Resource Center houses hands-on, minds-on science education materials that are available for checkout. These include books, videos, equipment, models, specimens, charts and posters, slides, and activity kits. Please follow the link below to see the list of materials in our center.
The Resource Center also serves as a place to get supportive planning help for science lessons. Feel free to ask our Resource Center Assistants questions!

Winter 2025 hours of operations are:
Monday: 9 AM – 12 PM & 1 PM – 4 PM –> CLOSED for MLK Jr. Day on 1/20/25
Wednesday: 9 AM – 12 PM & 1 PM – 4 PM.
Thursday: 9 AM – 12 PM & 1 PM – 4 PM –> CLOSED 9-10:30am on 1/23/25

Finding your way to the SEPAL Resource Center at SFSU
From Lake Merced (Driving)
- From Lake Merced Blvd, turn on North State Drive.
- At the Lot 20 Parking Garage, veer left and continue up the hill (you’ll pass Cox Stadium on your right).
- Turn right and continue straight (you’ll pass Thornton Hall on your left).
- Turn right and make an immediate left to park in the Lot 6.
- Obtain a temporary parking permit from SEPAL Resource Center staff.
