Videographer: Deidre Suber
Deidre Suber is an independent videographer and editor working with the latest editing and special effects software on the market. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Theater Arts: Performance and an M.A. in Instructional Technology: Multimedia Instruction, which lead to an opportunity to work with Kimberly Tanner, the director of SEPAL, on a video project for their after school science club called Spectrum. From 2008-2012, she has been the Spectrum videographer and has helped to create twenty videos that highlight the program; six (6) are video biographies of female professors in the Biology department, who also teach in the Spectrum science clubs and fourteen (14) are advice videos featuring past and present undergraduate and graduate students in the Biology department. She plans to continue perfecting her skills behind the camera in the art of filming, editing and graphic design, while honing her craft in front of the camera as an actor.
