What are they up to now? 

Shannon is still at Pacific Lutheran University. There she is currently instructing Biology. Recently she was awarded to accolades. The first being the 2018 PLU Spirit of Diversity Award. The second being the National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant to help support “Building Capacity to prepare STEM majors to Become STEM Educators.
