What is Spectrum?

• Spectrum establishes after-school science clubs targeted at girls of color in SFUSD and Northern San Mateo County schools.
• Spectrum establishes a mentoring community of SFSU women of color with interests in biomedical research

Science Teachers and Educators:

Bring hands on science to girls of color.
Receive a $1000 stipend for the year.

Host monthly after school science clubs at your school site with a partner teacher at your school and two SFSU scientists!

Bring hands on science to girls of color.

Take a weekly 2 hour science teaching seminar and receive up to 4 units of course credit.

If you are an SFSU undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, or graduate student in Biology and are interested in joining Spectrum, please look out for applications mid-Spring.
